Born Saul Hudson in London July 1965 he would eventually find fame as Slash, the guitar wielding top hat wearing  hero with mega-selling Rock band Guns n' Roses.

Although Slash has had numerous side projects and been guest guitarist with a long list of musical luminaries, it is for his ground breaking guitar work with Guns n' Roses that he is most widely known, particularly the seminal Appetite For Destruction album from 1987.
