Prince Rogers Nelson was born on June 7th 1958 in Minneapolis USA and died of an accidental over dose of prescribed medication on April 21st 2016. Although he used quite a selection of stage names during his highly prolific career, it is simply Prince, that most music fans know and love him.

An extremely talented multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, dancer and producer, Prince wrote his very first song at the unbelievable age of seven. After releasing his debut album in 1978 his career took off through the ozone and remained there until his death. Such were his prolific song writing skills, it is said that at the time of his death he had enough material for at least fifty albums stored in his studio.
