Lester Flatt Miniature Guitar Replica By Axman
Lester Raymond Flatt (June 19, 1914 – May 11, 1979) was an American bluegrass guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter, best known as one half of the legendary duo Flatt & Scruggs and a founding member of The Foggy Mountain Boys. Renowned for his warm baritone voice and trademark “Lester Flatt G-run,” he helped define the sound and style of modern bluegrass music.
During his years with The Foggy Mountain Boys, Flatt contributed to some of the genre’s most influential recordings, including the iconic Foggy Mountain Breakdown and the theme song for The Beverly Hillbillies. After parting ways with Earl Scruggs in 1969, he formed Lester Flatt and the Nashville Grass, continuing to record and tour until the late 1970s.
This is a miniature replica of Lester Flatt’s classic acoustic guitar. The model reflects the traditional sunburst finish, elegant binding, and understated vintage detailing associated with Flatt’s stage instruments, capturing the timeless look of a true bluegrass pioneer.
