Eric Bell (Thin Lizzy) -  Miniature Guitar Replica

Before the classic twin guitar line up of Thin Lizzy evolved in 1973, the band had been a trio from it's formation in 1969. Eric Robin Bell was Lizzy's original lead guitarist and with Phil Lynott and Brian Downey recorded the band's first 3 albums and their first and biggest hit single, Whiskey In The Jar.

Eric Bell was born in Belfast in 1947 and in his teens he was cutting his musical teeth with showbands around his home city, including the last incarnation of Them to feature Van Morrison. It was around the time that he became bored with the showband format that he met Lynott and Downey and Thin Lizzy MK1 was born. He remained with Lizzy until New Years Eve 1973 when he trashed his gear mid-concert, walked off stage and out of the band.
